What's inside

Six small things

Yajood does six things. None of them require you to be rich, or even very generous. Most take less than a minute.

01

Donate

That coat you haven't touched all year? Someone needs the warmth. Yajood finds them.

02

Request

Need a stroller, school books, a hand moving house? Just ask. You'll be surprised who answers.

03

Exchange

You have a sewing machine. They have a stroller. Trade — Yajood handles the chat and the meet-up.

04

NGO Hubs

Real associations doing real work. Follow a few. Donate when you can, volunteer when you have time.

05

Olives

Every positive action earns you an olive.

06

Nearby & beyond

Starts with your neighborhood. Expands when you choose.

What we believe

Four principles.

01

Dignity is not optional.

Asking for help shouldn't cost you your dignity. Receiving it shouldn't cost you your pride. Yajood is designed so neither happens.

02

Trust is earned, never bought.

You can't buy a good name on Yajood. Olives are earned, one action at a time. Reputation moves slowly. That's the point.

03

Generosity can be small.

You don't need to be rich to give. You don't need a grand gesture. The coat in your closet is enough. The hour you have is enough.

04

Free, safe, private.

Yajood is free for everyone — no fees, no ads. We don't sell your data. Content is moderated, NGOs are verified before going live.

How it works

Four small steps.

From install to handoff, the whole flow takes a few minutes — spread over a day or two.

  4. 4

Meet, hand it over, confirm in the app. Both sides earn olives.

Trust by design

Built on olives, kept safe by hand.

The olive system explains how trust grows. The checks below explain how it's protected.

The olive system, in one sentence.

Every good action earns you an olive — a small, visible mark of trust. Olives can't be bought or transferred. Only earned, one act at a time.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Eight quick answers.

Is Yajood really free?
Yes. Free to post, free to chat, free for everyone. No ads, no fees, no premium tier. Yajood is funded by grants and the founder.
How do olives work?
Every positive action earns you an olive — a small mark of trust. The more olives you carry, the more weight your word has in the community. Olives can't be bought, transferred, or gamed.
Can my association use Yajood?
Yes. Verified NGOs get a free hub, can broadcast campaigns to nearby donors, and receive contributions directly. Email support@yajood.app to start.
Is my data safe?
Every post is reviewed by a human moderator before publishing. Phone numbers stay hidden. We never sell your data. You can block or report anyone, anytime.
When is the iOS app coming?
We're working on it. Sign up on Android for now — your account will carry over when iOS launches.
Which languages are supported?
Arabic, French, and English — fully translated, including the chat interface and notifications.
How does Yajood make money if there are no fees or ads?
Right now, it doesn't. The project is funded by the founder and grants. Long term, we'll explore optional premium tools for NGOs — never user fees.
What if someone misuses the platform?
Report any post or person in two taps. Moderators review reports within 24 hours. Bad actors are removed, not warned.

From the co-founder

"I built Yajood because every time I go online, I'd see people offering and asking for help — quietly, on Facebook groups, on WhatsApp lists, with all the noise that comes with it. Yajood is what I wished those moments had: a hub that connects those who need help with those who are happy to offer it."
